Yes, Vocara lodges the ACC45 with ACC. Here is exactly how.

Not a form-filler, and not a copy-paste helper. Vocara connects to ACC's own systems, holds ACC production access granted after ACC's compliance verification, and lodges under your practice's identity with you pressing send.

The flow, session to claim

Run the appointment

Record live, dictate, upload audio or type. Vocara writes a structured clinical note from what was actually said: transcript-only, nothing inferred, nothing invented. Audio is deleted immediately after transcription.

Review and sign

You edit anything, then sign. On an ACC initial assessment, Vocara suggests the READ injury code from the session itself, with its reasoning shown. You confirm or change it.

Lodge the ACC45

The ACC45 is drafted from your signed note with every field editable. You review it, confirm the attestation, and lodge. The submission goes to ACC from inside Vocara, and the claim number comes back into the note and the patient's record.

Keep the claim moving

ACC32 treatment extension requests are drafted from the clinical record, reviewed by you, and submitted to ACC in-app. Session allocations are tracked with warnings as a claim runs low. Diagnosis corrections and ACC invoicing are prepared from the same record, and ACC pays your practice directly: Vocara never touches the money.

Keep the receipts

Every submission is recorded: what was sent, when, by whom, and exactly what ACC replied. If a question ever comes up, the answer is on file.

Whose identity is on the claim

Your practice's, always. Your practice connects its own ACC digital certificate, vendor ID and provider numbers. Every submission is made under that identity and only that identity. A practice that has not connected its ACC credentials cannot submit anything, and Vocara's own credentials are never used on a clinic's behalf.

What never happens

Nothing is submitted to ACC automatically. Every lodgement is reviewed and confirmed by the treating practitioner, every time.
Vocara never writes your causation judgement. The link between accident and injury is the clinical opinion ACC decides cover on, and it is always yours, entered by you.
Nothing in a note is invented. If it was not said or written in the session, it is not in the note.
No claim ever carries Vocara's identity instead of your practice's.

Why this exists

The note was always the easy half. For NZ allied health, the real time goes into the paperwork after it: the ACC45, the justification on an ACC32, allocations, invoicing. Vocara was built in New Zealand by a Kiwi team around exactly that half, so the record a practitioner signs is also the record ACC receives: same facts, same wording, no retyping in between.
