What are these, and where do I find them?

Your ACC digital certificate is a file ACC issued to your practice, ending in .p12 or .pfx. It proves to ACC that a claim really came from your practice. If your practice has ever sent anything to ACC electronically, from any software, you already have one. It is usually held by your practice manager, or whoever set up your current ACC software.

Your vendor ID is the short code ACC uses for your practice as a business. It is the one your ACC payments are made against.

Your ACC provider number is yours personally, not the practice's. Each practitioner enters their own on the Profile tab.

Vocara stores your certificate encrypted with the same protection used for patient information. It is never shown in a browser again after you upload it, and only the servers that talk to ACC can read it.

Invoicing ACC from Vocara Off

Send treatment invoices to ACC straight from Vocara. ACC pays your practice directly into the bank account it holds for your vendor ID; Vocara never touches the money. Leave this off if any other software already invoices ACC for your practice: two systems invoicing the same visits means ACC receives everything twice, and that lands on your practice, not the software. Before every invoice, Vocara also asks ACC what it already holds for the claim and refuses a same-day double-up.
